Operator: Kim Mingyu (김민규). We process your email address and the information you send to respond to support requests. We retain support correspondence for as long as needed to respond and delete it when it is no longer needed. Contact the address below for privacy requests.
From BlackNote 1.1, handwriting, text, photos, scans, recordings and attachments are stored on your device first. There is no developer account registration, advertising, tracking or analytics SDK.
iCloud sync is off by default. When you enable it on each device, notebooks, memos, folders and attachments are stored in your private iCloud database through Apple CloudKit. Internet access and available iCloud storage are required. The developer cannot access your private database. This does not sync with Apple’s Notes app.
If you explicitly start collaboration, the selected memo is shared with invited participants, with the read or edit permission you grant. Copies exported to another app are managed by that app and the recipient.
Camera, microphone, photos and speech recognition are used when you choose the relevant feature and grant system permission. Transcription requires on-device recognition and is unavailable on unsupported devices or languages. Locked memos use Apple CryptoKit encryption and authentication-protected keys stored only on that device. Locked memos do not sync to iCloud.
Trashed items remain until you permanently delete them. Turning sync off stops future sync; it does not automatically delete existing iCloud data. Attachment chunks from earlier revisions may remain in iCloud and use storage. You can remove all cloud data through system iCloud storage management. Exported copies and backups are separate. Back up important material before deleting the app.
This site has no added analytics scripts or contact form. Apple and the hosting provider may process information needed to operate their services under their own policies. Do not include sensitive note content in support requests.
